Sheyenne Tooling & Manufacturing of Cooperstown, North Dakota was founded in 1977 with the goal of becoming a highly regarded regional tool and die manufacturer. Since then, the family owned business has established a reputation as a precision component manufacturer for some of the biggest names in American agriculture including Bobcat, John Deere and CNH. Our Tele-Boom, Tele-Fork, Double Quick Tach Grapple and the rest of our short line of unique and innovative skidsteer attachments are designed and built to meet our customers high quality and performance expectations.
1996
We acquired the highly respected Westgo grain auger line. Built to commercial standards, it has the longest wear life of any grain auger in the industry.
2005
We began manufacturing the Sunmaster Sunflower Header – The most successful row crop header in the world to harvest sunflowers that are lodged, broken over, or excessively dry. Its unique design significantly minimizes shattering and head losses so common with traditional harvesting equipment. Excellent for use in milo because it can pick up the crop off the ground and still cut it off high enough to leave a taller standing stubble so desired by many milo growers. Excellent for picking up any downed corn crop minimizing ear loss. PLG Inc was created as a subsidiary of Sheyenne Tooling & Mfg. As a leading Manufacturer of heavy truck and trailer equipment, PLG Inc manufactures End Dump and Hopper Trailers. We are very excited about what is to come in the future for PLG Inc.
2006
At the encouragement of our customers we began manufacturing our new conveyor. It is built with the same outstanding quality as our Sheyenne Westgo Grain Auger line.
2010
We began manufacturing our new Cyclone Ditcher and our Black Max Compact Tractor Snowblower. These are built with the same outstanding quality as all of our products.
